The Contemporary Music Development Worker works to develop and promote high quality contemporary music making and performance in the county.

The Officer can provide advice and support about the music industry and is part of a wider regional group of music officers throughout the East Midlands called EmmNet (East Midlands Music Network).

Together EmmNet work to support music making in the region and run cross county events to help promote music talent throughout the region.
